Animism is the concept that the world is living. Within the natural world exist frequencies and primordial energies that make up the essence of all living beings. The presence of sentient life is what makes up the ecosystem; it’s an inter-relational web of creation. 

Have you stopped to contemplate the way the trees create oxygen, the clouds feed the water, the moon pulls the tides, or the continual ebb and flow of the seasons? Isn’t this dance of creation nothing short of a miracle, when we really stop and comprehend?

When we begin to experience the natural world as a living sentient intelligence, not just merely an object but a being that has an essence, an intelligence and is inter-dependent, it’s hard not to fall to our knees in awe and wonder.  

We as humans can relate to these energies through the mythical, the poetic, the imaginal, and the erotic. 

In this way the deep patterns of the natural world emerge and we come to comprehend that nature has its own law.

A lot of our indigenous ways of knowing the natural world have been lost in our disconnect from earth but when we start to shift our consciousness to the ways of nature we open ourselves to experience the whole living earth in an eco-erotic-relationship. 

In that way we come to see the dance of creation as a conversation. 

The way we come into this relationship and feel the intelligence, essence, spirit of the natural world is the way in which we as humans come alive: alive with spirit, alive with life-force, alive with creational magic. 

This aliveness is the true nature of Eros. How we experience our aliveness in our bodies leads to a participation with the web of all life.  

Eros is a frequency that we experience through the intelligence of our bodies. A true, healthy and mature Eros emerges when we are embedded within the rhythm of the natural world. 

Eros is an ecological love affair with life. Eros is the way we come to know the animism of the Earth. 

Hidden within the deep primordial frequencies we experience through our attunement to Eros in our bodies is our inherent power, depth of soul, and wisdom of heart. Which is to say: these are the ways we are woven into the web.
